Electrochemistry
Online Electrochemical System
Electrochemical setup designed to identify and quantify the products during a reaction in real time. Our current online electrochemical systems for product analysis integrate electrochemical cells and product analysis equipment including gas chromatographs and mass spectrometers (GC, HPLC, MS).
Electrochemical cell and online GC system designed for gas products analysis
Products Analysis Systems
Gas Chromatography (GC)
Gas chromatographs equipped with a flame ionization detector (FID) and a thermal conductivity detector (TCD): Agilent 7890A GC and Schimadzu GC-2014

High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is available for the analysis of liquid products, including carboxylates such as formate and acetate, HPLC, Shimadzu Prominence with autosampler.
HPLC, Shimadzu Prominence
Liquid Product Analysis Gas Chromatography (Liquid-GC)
Gas chromatograph capable to analyze alcohol products such as menthol, ethanol, and propanol, Shimadzu 2010 Plus with autosampler.
Shimadzu 2010 Plus
Mass Spectrometry (MS)
Mass spectrometer employed for Differential Electrochemical Mass Spectrometry (DEMS) applications. The system includes an electrochemical half-cell for the in situ detection of gaseous or volatile electrochemical reactants, reaction intermediates and/or products of continuous faradaic reactions, Hiden HPR-20.

Potentiostats
Several potentiostats are available for the electrochemical characterization of catalytic processes. These systems allow basic electrochemical analysis such as linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Our potentiostats are also available for the preparation of catalysts via electrodeposition and electrochemical (pulsed) anodization methods: Autolab PGSTAT302N, Multi Autolab M204, Biologics SP-240
